About the Speaker:

Roy Liu wears many hats--practicing attorney, Director of Communications for Plain Law Movement, host of the popular podcasts "Roy's Non-stop," and host of the Public Television Service program "The Theme Night Show."

As an expert "knowledge translator," Roy is dedicated to bridging gaps and fighting misinformation, and he is a "knowledge translator" for public issues. He firmly believes that when citizens are equipped with basic legal literacy, they are empowered to reject shallow political discourse and resist the influence of disinformation.

A master communicator, Roy will share how his extensive media experience and social observations have shown him the profound ways in which the rule of law and our social environments truly define our daily lives.
